Whittington Lead Jams Flop

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Preflop action was in progress as Greg Whittington raised to 32,000 from the hijack. Maciek Gracz three-bet to 90,000 from the cutoff. It folded back to Whittington who thought for quite a while before committing the chips for the call.

The dealer spread the flop {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. First to act, Whittington seized the initiative and moved all in. Gracz checked his cards a few times before folding to give Whittington the chunk of chips.

Jake Bazeley
Jake Bazeley

Jake Bazeley was involved in a big hand with a pot of around 175,000 in the middle. The action was on the turn as the board read {k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Ben Petrillo made a small sized bet of 65,000 into the pot. Bazeley raised all in for his remaining amount which was counted out to be 335,000. Petrillo went into the tank and talked it out loud. Eventually his decision meter landed on call and the cards were turned over.

Bazeley had Petrillo out-kicked with the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} up against the {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} of Petrillo. The river came the {4-Clubs} to confirm the big double for the defending Cherokee champion.
