David Plotkin opened to 275,000 from the button, Justin Carey three-bet to 875,000 in the small blind and Plotkin called. The dealer fanned out {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} on the flop, action checked to Plotkin who bet 1,300,000 and Carey moved all in. Plotkin called for his 3,600,000 stack and the two tabled their hands.

David Plotkin: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Justin Carey: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {q-Hearts} peeled off on the turn and Carey was still ahead with his two pair. A {j-Clubs} river cemented the pot for Carey as he pulled in all of the chips, sending Plotkin out the door in third place.

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Andrew Ostapchenko
Andrew Ostapchenko

Andrew Ostapchenko was first to act and elected to move all in for 810,000. Maurice Hawkins called on the button and David Plotkin stuck around as well from the small blind.

Justin Carey ducked out from the big blind and the dealer spread out {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} on the flop. Plotkin checked to Hawkins who instantly fired in a stack of about 500,000. "You must have a made hand," said Plotkin as he let go of ace-king.

Ostapchenko tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of sixes and Hawkins showed {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a higher pair of nines.

The {5-Diamonds} landed on the turn, giving Ostapchenko some more outs to stay alive but the {5-Hearts} river was not one of them as he was eliminated by the nines of Hawkins.

Plotkin Doubles Up Hawkins

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

David Plotkin opened to 250,000 from the cutoff, Maurice Hawkins defended his big blind and the flop came down {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Both players checked to the {5-Spades} turn card and Hawkins bet 325,000.

Plotkin called and the {10-Diamonds} landed on the river. Hawkins instantly moved all in and Plotkin hit the tank. "What do you have? This could be your tournament if you make the wrong call!" Said Hawkins.

As soon as the words left the mouth of Hawkins, Plotkin called and the all-time ring leader instantly turned over {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a straight. Plotkin mucked and Hawkins secured himself a complete double through Plotkin with his straight.
