Macri Drops Another

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player in early position opened to 2,000 and Ralph Macri three-bet to 5,000. The initial raiser made it 12,000, Macri quickly called and the dealer fanned out {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} on the flop.

Macri was faced with a bet of 12,000 from his opponent and snap-called. A {4-Spades} landed on the turn, the under the gun player bet 12,000 and Macri instantly moved all in for 56,000. His opponent called for just a few thousand less and the two tabled their hands.

The under the gun player turned over {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} for an overpair of cowboys, but was behind as Macri showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for a bigger pair in his bullets. The {4-Diamonds} completed the board and Macri took down another massive, sending another player out the door.

Macri Sniffs Out a Bluff

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

Ralph Macri three-bet to 3,500 before the flop and found one caller. The dealer spread out {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, Macri bet 6,000 and his opponent called to the {5-Hearts} turn card.

Macri checked to his opponent who instantly shoved in their 18,700 stack. Macri took a moment to think and then pushed in the chips to call.

His opponent tabled {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for ace-high and Macri was ahead as he turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for queens over nickles. A {7-Hearts} hit the felt as a river card and Macri's flopped lady took down the pot, eliminating his opponent.
