Garrett Fades the River, Doubles Through Ha

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The turned board read {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts} when Vimy Ha pushed in a pot-sized bet of 100,000. Robert Garrett moved all in for 132,000 and Ha called, players turned over their hands.

Robert Garrett: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Vimy Ha: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

Garrett had the current best hand with his pair of jacks but Ha had plenty of outs to send him home. The river bricked off as a {3-Hearts} completed the board and Garrett let out a sigh of relief as his pair of jacks held on for the double.

Barron Drops Rossitto Off at the Cleaners

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The turned board showed {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and there was around 28,500 in the pot. Jeremy Barron checked to Michael Rossitto who bet 12,500 and Barron quickly check-raised to 27,000.

Rossitto called and the dealer flipped over a {4-Spades} on the river. Barron announced all-in and Rossitto hit the tank. Ultimately Rossitto called, tabling {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a pair of eights but was no good as Barron peeled over {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a turned straight, taking down the pot and eliminating Rossitto in the process.

Azzaro Sends Leung Out on the Bubble

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Michael Azzaro opened to 12,000, Anthony Leung three-bet to 34,000 directly to his left and Azzaro moved all in for 126,000. Leung called for slightly less and the two tabled their cards.

Anthony Leung: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Michael Azzaro: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The flop came down {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and Leung's queens were still ahead. An unlucky card landed on the turn for Leung as an {a-Hearts} peeled off, giving Azzaro a better two pair. The {10-Clubs} completed the board and Azzaro's turned ace took down the pot, sending Leung out as the bubble boy. All players are now guaranteed at least a min-cash of $2,481.

Stashin Continues to Climb as Money Bubble Draws Near

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Spencer Champlin opened to 11,000 from the hijack, Spencer Champlin three-bet to 36,000 on the button and Champlin called to see the {q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop.

Both players checked and the {6-Spades} landed on the turn. Action checked to Stashin, he bet 30,000 and Champlin called after a moment of thought.

The {4-Diamonds} landed on the river and both players checked. Champlin tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for ace-high, Stashin quickly turned over {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks and the best hand, scooping in the pot close to the bubble.
