Leonard Sande opened to 25,000 from under the gun and two players called, including Gordon Wilcox who defended his big blind. The dealer spread out on the flop, action checked to Sande who bet 32,000 and only Wilcox called.
The peeled off on the turn and both players checked to the river card. Wilcox checked to Sande, he bet 68,000 and Wilcox snap-called.
Sande tabled for two pair but it was not good as Wilcox turned over for a rivered straight. The defending champ now seats close to the top of the leader board.
Michael Stashin moved all in for around 95,000 from under the gun, Andrew Ostapchenko called on the button and the two turned over their hands with Stashin at risk.
