New Takes Out Smith

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

WSOP Bracelet winner Alex Ziskin raised to 1,800 from under the gun, and Kenton New called in middle position. Ernest "Smitty" Smith three-bet shoved for 7,500 from the cutoff, and the button called off his last 800 in chips. Ziskin called, as did New.

Action checked through the entire {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} board, and the button tabled {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for an unimproved Big Slick. New tabled {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a pair of threes, Ziskin mucked, and Smith could only muster {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, earning New a double knockout.

Mistelske Runs Into Sepiol's Set

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Neil Harding checked an {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Spades} board from the big blind, and Dustin Mistelske bet 6,700 into a pot of 10,000 from early position. Next to act, Daniel Sepiol raised to 16,000, and after Harding folded, Mistelske made the call.

Mistelske bet 34,000 on the {5-Hearts} river, and Sepiol instantly declared all in for just 100 more, which Mistelske called with a shrug. Sepiol tabled {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for a set of jacks, and Mistelske was forced to reveal his {a-Spades}{8-Spades} before paying off the extra 100.

Beck Flops the World and Gets There

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

With 16,000 already in the middle and a {k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop out, Bob Beck got his last 26,400 in the middle from middle position, and the hijack called to put him at risk.

Bob Beck: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Beck had flopped a Royal Flush draw against the top pair, top kicker of the hijack. The {2-Clubs} turn was a total brick for Beck, but the {9-Spades} river left Beck with the nuts and a double.
