Shainiuk Leads Out, Double Barrels, Gets Fold

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Bobby Pham opened to 80,000 on the button, and Roman Shainiuk called in the big blind.

Shainiuk led out for 165,000 on the {3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, and Pham called. Shainiuk fired again for 375,000 on the {j-Clubs} turn, and Pham folded.

"Show the bluff," said Paul Chai from across the table. Shainiuk showed the {a-Clubs} as he collected the pot.

Lucas Hangs In

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Terence Reardon opened to 80,000 from the hijack, and Landen Lucas three-bet all in for his 420,000 stack.

Reardon pondered the decision for a while. "If you have a pair, I'm crushed," said Reardon as he evaluated the situation.

Reardon eventually folded, keeping Lucas alive as Level 25 rolls on.

Chai Turns Three Treys To Double

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Paul Chai
Paul Chai

Paul Chai saw action folded to him in the small blind and raised to 195,000, putting action on Travis Fujisaka in the big blind. Fujisaka three-bet, sliding a decently-sized pile of pink T100,000 chips forward. Chai put all of his chips in and Fujisaka called off the difference.

Paul Chai: {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Travis Fujisaka: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

Though his two unpaired cards were live, Chai wasn't thrilled to see that his diamonds were not. A three came in the window on the flop {3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} but there was a five-ball underneath, leaving him drawing even slimmer. The turn then fell {3-Spades} to improve him to trip treys, leaving him with two outs to sweat on the final card to earn a double. The river came {2-Clubs} and his stack was counted out to 830,000, which Fujisaka paid off.

"You're crazy, man," said Terence Reardon as Chai raked in his chips.

"Crazy good!" amended Paul Richardson.

"Crazy good," agreed Reardon.

Shainiuk Turns a Flush

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Roman Shainiuk raised to 90,000 from under the gun and received a call from Travis Fujisaka in the hijack. Action folded around to Arish Nat, who defended his big blind to take postflop action three ways.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Nat checked. Shainiuk made a continuation-bet of 210,000, getting a call from Fujisaka before Nat got out of their way.

The turn was {j-Hearts} and Shainiuk continued, firing a second barrel for 500,000. Fujisaka thought for a bit and sent his cards to the muck.

Shainiuk decided he wanted to share his holdings as he received the pot. He tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} to show a turned flush. A few players remarked about the strength of his hand and then got ready for the next hand.

Fujisaka Doubles Through Chai

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The first big hand of the final table evolved 25 minutes into the day's first level.

Roman Shainiuk opened to 90,000 from early position, and Paul Chai three-bet to 285,000 from the hijack. Travis Fujisakavis Fujisaka then started counting out pink T100,000 chips, appearing like he was ready to make a big move.

Fujisaka did just that, four-betting to 900,000. Shainiuk quickly folded.

Paul Chaii then went all in with the rest of his 3,100,000 total stack, and Fujisaka snap called.

Travis Fujisaka: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Paul Chai: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Board: {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

It was about as good of a situation as Fujisaka could hope for, with the queens well ahead of Paul Chaii's pocket jacks. The runout came out pure for Fujisaka, who scored a big double at the final table.

Richardson Attacks In Blind-On-Blind Battle

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Paul Richardson completed his small blind after action was folded to him and Terence Reardon checked his option behind from the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Richardson checked. Reardon bet 40,000 and Richardson called.

The turn fell {q-Diamonds} and Richardson checked to Reardon again, who put out another bet for 60,000. Richardson took about 30 seconds before check-raising all in for what was about 750,000. Action was then back on Reardon, who folded shortly thereafter to bring Richardson over the seven-figure mark early on Day 3 after eclipsing the mark for a bit late last night.

Down to his last five big blinds, Landen Lucas went all in for 170,000 from the cutoff, and Arish Nat made the call from the small blind.

Landen Lucas: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Arish Nat: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Board: {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The ten in the window was a welcome sight for Lucsd, and the pair held up through the river, giving Lucas life in the early stages of Day 3.
