Gregory Grech
Gregory Grech

Gregory Grech has won two tournaments since the beginning of May for a little more than €60,000 and his good run looks like it might continue here in Marrakech.

The Frenchman has eliminated an opponent in two hands to build a stack of 110,000 chips.

Grech's opponent limped under the gun and saw a player bet 1,400 chips from the hijack. On the button, Gregory fired a three-bet and was called by both players. After a continuation bet on {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, The hijack check-raised all-in and Grech called with {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. The Frenchman was ahead against the flush draw of the player in the hijack, who tabled {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. The turn {6-Spades} and river {j-Spades} changed nothing and Grech was suddenly piling up a little more than 70,000 chips.

Less than ten minutes later, Grech was sat behind more than 100,000 chips. He's in the mood to aim for the very top of the chipcounts.

Felted players have the opportunity to use an illimited re-entry until the start of the Level 10... and regulars try to take advantage of that by playing a very high-variance game.

Anas Tadini has already re-entry more than two times and Sébastien Compte (Photo - 3rd in the the World Poker Tour Marrakech 2010 for 126,586$) is actually going to the cashier to play again...

During the last fifteen minutes, we also lost the volubile Omar Lakhdari who will also ren-enter very soon !

Chipleader

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Paul is from Spain and don't want us to use his real name so he'll go for Paul Said for the moment.

The Spaniard start was beautiful as he has now more than 4 times the starting stacks with 143,000 chips in front of him...

Field is growing

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Today's field has already grown to 124 entries... a very good start for the WSOP Circuit Anniversary Main Event Day 1A.

Bruno Fitoussi

Bruno Fitoussi introduced poker on the french live scene by starting the tables of the Aviation Club de France 25 years ago. The Partypoker sponsored pro is above average with 34,000 chips after winning a small hand.

The Godfather opened in the Cutoff and fired two barrels against the big blind on a {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-}{9-} to take the pot...

Fred Rizzo

Fred Rizzo was 5 cards away from a re-entry after a preflop war with Axel Jacquin... but he was saved by the dealer.

The frenchmen were all-in preflop and Rizzo was behind with {k-}{k-} !

Axel Jacquin tabled {a-}{a-} but was crushed by the {k-}{8-}{j-} flop. There was no help on the turn and the river left Jacquin with 21,000 chips.

Rizzo has now a healthy stack of 54,000 chips...
