Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Before the cards were dealt Jim Carroll had called PokerNews and said he was going to "Showoff for PokerNews" and proceeded to play the hand. The player under-the-gun raised to 1,400 and Carroll was next to act making it 3,000 to go and the action folded back around to the under-the-gun player who made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and after being checked to Carroll bet out 3,000 and his opponent let his hand go. "Pick a card," He said to his opponent and his opponent tabled the {a-Diamonds} before both cards were thrown in the muck.

Toulouse Picks the Wrong Time

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

With 7,800 in the middle the flop read {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} Mark Toulouse checked to Mark Farrar who bet out 2,400. Toulouse check-raised all-in for roughly 22,000 and Farrah quickly called off his remaining 18,400 and both hands were tabled.

Mark Toulose: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Mark Farrar: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Farrar had flopped top two and Toulouse needed to catch an eight to win but unfortunately for him the board ran out {j-Diamonds} on the turn and {j-Spades} on the river for Farrar's two pair to hold and leaving Toulouse short-stacked.

Tran Hits Turn and Gets Maximum

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Hieu Dang raised in middle position to 1,300 and Trung Tran three-bet next to act to 3,700. The button called and the blinds folded before Dang made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Tran continued for 5,000 and the player on the button tanked for about 10-seconds before deciding to call and Dang quickly folded.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and Tran fired 5,000 once again and after about 30-seconds his opponent decided to put all his 11,000 in the middle. Tran quickly called and both hands were tabled.

Button: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Trung Tran: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Tran had hit the king on the turn to take the lead against his opponent's pocket jacks and the river was no help to his opponent when the {6-Spades} landed, sending him to the rail.
