Danho Downed by Abdellatif

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Terry Jordon raised to 3,000 from under the gun and Benjamin Danho three-bet to 9,000 in the hijack. Jonathan Abdellatif called in the cutoff and so did Jordon after the rest had folded.

The flop came {9-}{3-}{2-} with two clubs and a spade. Jordon check-folded to the 24,000 continuation-bet of Danho which Abdellatif did call.

The turn brought them an offsuit {2-} and Danho shoved his last few chips in which was called. Danho held {10-}{10-} and Abdellatif had {a-Clubs}{a-}.

The river completed the board with the {k-Hearts} to keep Abdellatif ahead and eliminate Danho.

Shortly after, Simon Burns joined the table.

Ruijs' Queens Can't Win

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Gazmend Bekteshi raised to 2,300 from the cutoff and was called by Gary Hasson in the small blind. Joris Ruijs three-bet to 16,000 from the big blind which Beksteshi called but Hasson folded to.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}, Ruijs checked and Bekteshi decided to shove for around 65,000. Ruijs showed some surprise on his face and then quickly called with fewer chips.

Joris Ruijs: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Gazmend Bekteshi: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Ruijs had the overpair and Bekteshi was sitting on a flush draw.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} to now give Bekteshi the higher pair.

The river completed the board with the {3-Spades} to keep Bekteshi ahead and eliminate Ruijs.

Double Knock-Out for Reard

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Alexandre Reard
Alexandre Reard

At the end of the previous level, Bram Uittenbogaard shoved for 10,600 from the cutoff and was called by Alexandre Reard on the button. Govert Metaal did the same in the small blind but Tobias Peters decided to shove too in the big blind for 26,400. Reard called and Metaal folded after considering his options for a while.

Bram Uittenbogaard: {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Tobias Peters: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Alexandre Reard: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} for Reard to flop the nuts.

The rest of the board was completed with the {2-Diamonds} on the turn and the {3-Spades} on the river to send both Peters and Uittenbogaard packing.

Hasson Halts Jordon

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Gazmend Bekteshi limped in from under the gun and Gary Hasson raised to 4,700 in the hijack. Terry Jordon called in the cutoff and action folded back to Bekteshi who three-bet to 40,000. Hasson shoved for around 150,000 and Jordon called with his fresh stack of 50,000. Bekteshi gave up on the hand.

Terry Jordon: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Gary Hasson: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for Hasson to pick up the flush draw.

The turn was the {7-Spades} to pair the board up but not change the situation.

The river completed the board with the {q-Diamonds} and Jordon cheered as he paired up but then realized that Hasson had hit his flush draw to send Jordon back to the rail again.

Peters Makes the Wrong Call

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Tobias Peters
Tobias Peters

The board read {5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Tobias Peters had checked in the middle position. Tom Vogelsang bet big to put Peters all-in for his last 27,000 or so. Peters was sitting in the tank, trying to figure out what to do.

"Tell me Tom, what should I do?!" Peters said.

Vogelsang just shrugged.

The clock was called on Peters after a while and the floor gave Peters 30 seconds to make a decision. While time was ticking down, Peters made the call, in the end, to see it was the wrong one as Vogelsang held {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} for the flopped top pair and turned trips. Peters had {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for just two pair.
