Michael Wang

On a flop reading {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, the player in the small blind checked. Michael Wang bet 600 from the hijack and the small blind check-called.

The turn came the {7-Hearts} and was checked through to the {10-Clubs} river. The small blind checked for a third time and Wang fired 3,200. His opponent gave it some thought, then made the call. Michael Wang

Michael Wang has now taken a seat in the Main Event, looking to add another great finish to his already red-hot week here in Baltimore.

Wang took down his first WSOP Circuit event just a few days ago, adding a first ring to a resume that already has a WSOP bracelet and over $2.3 million in live earnings.

The New Orleans, LA native followed up with his second ring last night, taking down two events in just a matter of days and now has a chance to add a third as he takes a shot in the $500,000 guarantee main event.

Jamshid Wins One

Level 1 : 100/100, 0 ante

Robert Woods raised to 300 from the button and Scott Drobes called from the small blind along with Behroo Jamshid in the big blind.

The flop fell {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Drobes checked. Jamshid bet 600 and Woods folded but Drobes check-called.

The dealer burned and turned the {5-Diamonds} and Drobes check-called another bet of 1,100 from Jamshid.

The {2-Hearts} filled up the river and both players opted to check.

"Six," muttered Drobes, but that wasn't good enough as Jamshid turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} to rake in the pot with a pair of jacks.
