The PokerNews Live Reporting Team is at the Horseshoe Baltimore to live report both the $1,700 Main Event and $3,250 High Roller; however, that is just one of more than a dozen gold ring events that have taken place over the past week. As such, we thought we’d profile some of the preliminary tournaments and those who struck it big.

In Event #8: $600 No-Limit Hold’em, 103 entrants created a $53,045 prize pool that was paid out to the top 15 players including Hank Sitton (11th - $1,075), Patrick Lacey (13th - $947), and Martin Borras (15th - $947).

For the second time at the stop, it was WSOP bracelet winner Michael Wang coming out on top. He previously topped a field of 101 runners to win Event #5: $400 NLH 6-Handed for $9,522 and his first ring. Days later, he won Event #8 for $15,156 and his second gold ring.

The 31-year-old from Livingston, New Jersey also vaulted into the points lead in the race for WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Baltimore Casino Champ.
