Big River Sends One Out

The board showed {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and there was 4,500 in the pot. Spencer Champlin pushed in a pot-sized bet and the player on his direct left raised to 10,000.

Champlin moved all in for just under 28,000 and his opponent called all of their stack all-in. Champlin's opponent showed {j-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a rivered straight but it was not strong enough after Champlin turned over his {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a rivered straight, scooping in the pot while eliminating his opponent in the process.

On the turn, the board read {2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts}. David Dibernardi bet 5,500 over to his opponent Jason Shinbaum who gave up his hand and sent the pot over the other large stack at the table.

Visconti Sticks Around with Treys

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Stephen Horniacek limped from under the gun, Nicholas Visconti limped in the hijack and Ian O'Hara raised to 3,200 from the cutoff. Both of his opponents called and the flop rolled out {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

All three players checked to the {7-Spades} turn card and action then checked to Visconti who bet 5,000. O'Hara was the lone caller and the {8-Diamonds} landed on the river.

Both players checked and Visconti showed {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for two pair. O'Hara of confusion as he threw his cards into the muck, shipping the pot to Visconti.

Shinbaum Rivers Straight

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Action was on the river with a board that read {3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}. Jason Shinbaum made a chunky bet of 40,000 into a pot of about 27,500. Jose Reyes had a big decision on his hands and looked to see how much Shinbaum had behind, which was not much.

Reyes eventually called and Shinbaum turned over the {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the rivered straight and all Reyes could do was muck his hand.

Horniacek bet 6,100 and his opponent snap-called. Horniacek tabled {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for the nut-flush and his opponent threw their hand into the muck.
