Horniacek Makes Big Call

Level 4 : 200/100, 200 ante

Action was picked up on the river on a board reading {9-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{k-Spades}{a-Hearts}. Jonathan Jaffe made a large all in shove for about 32,000 into a pot of roughly 9,500.

Stephen Horniacek was contemplating the big shove. "I have such a good blocker" he said while weighing the decision. After a couple of moments he tossed in the chips for the call.

"Good call" said Jaffe and turned over the {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}, while Horniacek showed the winning hand with the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} which got a round of compliments from the other players at the table and Jaffe was left with crumbs.
