David Brown Eliminated in 14th Place ($5,156)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

David Brown was the latest casualty on the feature table. Brown was sitting on a stack of less than 200,000 and finally found a spot to get his chips in the middle. Unfortunately for Brown, he was unable to find the double up and bowed out in 14th place for just over $5,000.

Vanja Oyuka Eliminated in 15th Place ($5,156)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The action folded to David Fair who was one of the shorter stacks and Fair pushed all in for just over 100,000. Vanja Oyuka had even fewer chips in front of him and made the call.

David Fair: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Vanja Oyuka: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Oyuka managed to make a pair of tens on the flop but that wasn't going to be enough to overcome the pocket queens from Fair.

Trost Barrells Three Streets

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Craig Trost raised to 38,000 in the cutoff and Chris Dandrea defended from the big blind. The flop came {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Dandrea check-called a bet of 31,000 from Trost.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Dandrea checked again. Trost fired out another bet of 85,000 and Dandrea went into the tank for a couple of minutes before finally making the call. The {q-Spades} hit the river and Dandrea checked once more. Trost flicked in a bet of 200,000, enough to put Dandrea to the test for his remaining chips. Dandrea quickly folded though and Trost raked in the pot.

Russell Rivers the Best Hand

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Michael Hanson opened to 40,000 in middle position and was called by Matt Russell in the hijack and Friman Villalona on the button. The flop fell {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Hanson checked to Russell who bet 52,000. Villalona folded but Hanson called.

The turn was the {3-Spades} and Hanson check-called another bet of 82,000 from Russell. The river brought the {a-Clubs} and both players knuckled the table. Hanson tabled {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} but Russell got him on the river with {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

Shawn Rice Eliminated in 16th Place ($4,356)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The action folded to Craig Trost in the cutoff who made it 38,000 to go. Shawn Rice three-bet shoved all in for around 350,000 in the small blind and Trost quickly called.

Trost turned over {j-}{j-} and was up against the {a-}{10-} of Rice. Trost was able to avoid any disaster on the board and his pocket jacks held up to eliminate Rice.

Dandrea checked again and Freeman flicked in a bet of 100,000. Dandrea called and the {6-Clubs} completed the board. Dandrea checked for the third time and Freeman shoved all in. Dandrea wasted little time before dispatching his cards and Freeman collected the pot.

Ray Henson Eliminated in 17th Place ($4,356)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Ray Henson
Ray Henson

Just moments after Vanja Oyuka doubled up his short stack, he was back at it again. Ray Henson was the first to shove all in for around 65,000 in the hijack and Vanja Oyuka re-shoved all in for slightly more on the button.

Vanja Oyuka: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Ray Henson: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

It was a coin flip but Oyuka held on to the lead through the {q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop. The {8-Clubs} on the turn changed nothing and the {4-Hearts} on the river ended Henson's tournament.

Dave Grandin Eliminated in 18th Place ($4,356)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action folded to Rick Troendly in the cutoff who shoved all in for around 135,000. Dave Grandin was in the big blind and on the short stack. He called off his stack of around 70,000 but found himself in big trouble.

Rick Troendly: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Dave Grandin: {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Grandin was all but out of the tournament. The {8-Hearts} on the turn sealed the deal and the {7-Spades} on the river was just a formality.

Orlov Doubles Through Oyuka

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Alexander Orlov opened to 26,000 from under the gun and Vanja Oyuka three-bet to 75,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Orlov four-bet shoved all in for 280,000. He was met with a snap-call from Oyuka and the cards were tabled.

Alexander Orlov: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Vanja Oyuka: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Orlov was looking to a spike a two-outer and the flop of {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} gave him just that. The {3-Spades} on the turn and the {5-Hearts} on the river ensured Orlov of a double up and Oyuka was left with crumbs.
