Harcourt Doubles Through Hills

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The action folded around to Andrew Hills on the button who made it 5,000 to go. Jeff Harcourt three-bet shoved all in for 26,000 in the small blind and Hills had a decision to make. He thought for a minute before making the call to put Harcourt at risk.

Jeff Harcourt: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Andrew Hills: {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The flop fell {9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Harcourt was still in the lead but Hills picked up a flush draw. The {a-Spades} on the turn and the {4-Diamonds} on the river bricked off to give Harcourt the double up.

Trost Sends His Opponent to the Tank

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Craig Trost raised it up from the cutoff and the big blind three-bet to 6,400 which Trost called. The flop came {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and the big blind led out for 6,500 and Trost called.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} and the big blind checked this time. Trost tossed in a bet of 11,000 and his opponent stuck around to see the {7-Diamonds} on the river. The big blind checked again and Trost moved all in, putting his opponent to the test for his remaining 42,000 chips.

A few minutes had passed and the clock was finally called. His time finally ran out and the big blind was forced to muck his cards, allowing Trost to pick up the pot.

Pardo Flops a Flush to Eliminate Isaia

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Veronique Cross opened to 4,200 from under the gun and was called by Alessio Isaia and Robert Pardo in the blinds. The flop fell {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Isaia led out for 6,000. Pardo called and Cross quickly folded.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and Isaia counted out his stack before shoving all in for 43,000. Pardo snap-called and turned over {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a flush. Isaia still had some outs with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} but the {a-Diamonds} on the river was not one of them.

Harder Back to Starting Stack

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Christian Harder raised it up from middle position and the big blind shipped all in for around 10,000 chips, just less than 10 big blinds. Harder flicked in a call and the cards were on their backs.

Christian Harder: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

The flop came {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Harder was still trailing his opponent's ace-high. The {10-Diamonds} on the turn changed nothing but it was the {j-Hearts} on the river that gave Harder a pair and the win.

Updated Chip Counts

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Mannes Sits Down to Pocket Kings

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Gary Mannes was one of the latest players to just take a seat and it didn't take long for him to put his fresh stack of 30,000 chips to work. After a couple of preflop raises, Mannes and his opponent got all of their chips in the middle with very similar stacks.

Gary Mannes: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} to give Mannes a set of kings but his opponent picked up a flush draw. The {9-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Diamonds} on the river only improved Mannes to a full house. After the stacks were counted, it was his opponent who was at risk for 26,500 and was eliminated.
