Level 26 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Level: 26

Blinds: 15,000/30,000

Ante: 30,000

Ricci More than Triples

Level 25 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jan Bednar raised to 50,000 from the early position and Andrea Ricci called for his last 25,000 in the middle position. Andrei Makavets three-bet to 85,000 in the cutoff. Action folded to Bednar to the surprise of Makavets who wanted to reveal his cards but then noticed he wasn't allowed to do so yet. Bednar called.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}, Bednar check-called the 85,000 continuation-bet of Makavets.

They both checked through the {q-Clubs} on the turn to the {3-Diamonds} on the river. Bednar then put in his 100,000-value chips to put Makavets all-in who folded almost instantly. Bednar tabled {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to pick up the side pot while Ricci scooped the pot with {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the pair of fives.

Three-Way All-In for Carmona to Triple Up

Level 25 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Andrea Ricci raised to 50,000 from the hijack and Andrei Makavets three-bet to 150,000 on the button. Marcos Carmona decided to shove in the small blind for Dennis Wilke to fold his big blind immediately. Ricci asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Carmona had 500,000 exactly behind. Ricci decided to shove for more. Makavets took some time and then flicked in a chip to call for the 750,000 he had.

Marcos Carmona: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Andrei Makavets: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Andrea Ricci: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for Carmona to triple up and for Makavets to double for the 250,000 he had left after paying Carmona. Ricci was left behind with 25,000.

Gegic Gone Thanks to Jakob

Rifat Gegic
Rifat Gegic

Marcel Jakob raised to 55,000 from under the gun and was called by Kahle Burns in the cutoff. Rifat Gegic shook his head as he said to the live reporting team that he just lost a big hand against Arunas Jocius and shoved for his last 100,000 in the big blind. Jakob responded with a bigger shove and Burns got out of their way.

Rifat Gegic: {3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Marcel Jakob: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for Jakob to hit trips immediately.

The turn was the {5-Spades} which now gave Gegic the six as an out for the straight.

The river completed the board with the {9-Spades} which didn't help him as he made his way to the payout desk.
