Zaskodny Has a Full House

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante
Lukas Zaskodny
Lukas Zaskodny

The flop read {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts} with 4,300 in the middle already. Lukas Zaskodny (under-the-gun position) check-called the 1,100 bet of Volodymyr Legkiy in the middle position.

The turn brought them the {a-Spades}, Zaskodny checked, Legkiy continued with a bet of 2,500 and Zaskodny responded with a raise to 8,500 after taking some time to consider his options. Legkiy called.

The river completed the board with the {5-Clubs}, Zaskodny fired a bet of 16,500 over the line and Legkiy snap-called. Zaskodny tabled {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for the flopped set of sevens which he improved to a full house on the river and that was enough to scoop up the pot.

Coming In

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Yaniv Peretz was eliminated earlier today but has just used his one reentry for the day. More players have entered the field to bring the total number to 150 for Day 1a for now.

Peter Trending Up

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Manuel Bulut had raised from the hijack and was called by Rene Heinricher on the button and Jaroslav Peter and Adrian Lazar in the blinds to create a pot of 2,600 in total.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, everyone checked to Heinricher who bet 1,500 which only Peter called.

They both checked through the {2-Diamonds} on the turn to see the {q-Clubs} complete the board on the river. Peter barreled a bet of 5,000 over the line and Heinricher quickly made the call. Peter tabled {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the flopped trip fives which was more than enough to make Heinricher muck his hand.

Paulus Has the Better Trips

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Just before the end of the previous level, Moreno Plozza raised to 300 and was three-bet by Ingo Paulus to 1,300 in the small blind. Dinesh Alt quickly folded his big blind and Plozza called.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, Paulus check-called the 800 continuation-bet of Plozza.

The turn brought them the {5-Hearts} and Paulus checked again. Plozza continued with a bet of 1,500 and Paulus made the call.

The river completed the board with the {4-Clubs}. Paulus took over the initiative and fired a bet of 2,300 over the line. Plozza snap-called by flicking in a chip and paid up the rest of the bet when Paulus tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Plozza showed he held the {a-Spades} himself for trips too but with the lower kicker.
