Vintage Kabrhel in Action

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel limped from under the gun and Miroslav Hurta raised to 7,000 from the very next seat. The rest of the table folded up to Donko Atanasov in the small blind, who called. The big blind folded, and Kabrhel put chips in to see a flop.

The first three cards were {q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Spades}, and Hurta bet 8,500 after two checks. Kabrhel was the only caller, and the {k-Diamonds} appeared on the turn.

Both players checked, and the {9-Hearts} completed the board on the river. Kabrhel announced all in after some deliberation, which was a sizable overbet, almost three times the size of the pot.

Hurta didn't think about it for long and folded. Kabrhel first prompted another player to check his own cards, then decided to open them himself, showing {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

"I play very good, man", Kabrhel said to the rail.

Ostatnik Falls to Berinov

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The board read {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} with a substantial pot in the middle already. Andrei Berinov put in 4 blue 25,000-value chips from under the gun to put Miroslav Ostatnik at risk in the cutoff who made the call with {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Berinov held {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} though for the higher pocket pair. Ostatnik got up from his chair to see the {5-Diamonds} complete the board on the river and send him back to the cashier to reenter.

First Blood

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Andrej Cintula is the first player departing from Day 2, losing his stack on a {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop where he was holding {q-Spades}{10-Spades} with two pair against Amar Begovic who had {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} with a flopped straight.

The {5-Hearts} on the turn and {4-Clubs} on the river didn't change anything, resulting in Cintula leaving his seat.

Who Will Make the Money and Bag for Day 3 in the WSOP International Circuit Main Event in Rozvadov?

King's Resort Poker Room
King's Resort Poker Room

At 2 p.m. local time, it will be time for Day 2 of the WSOP International Circuit Main Event here at the wonderful King’s Resort. This will be the first time where the remaining 287 players out of 619 entries will get together to battle it out for their share of the €1,103,500 guaranteed prize pool which includes ten WSOPE Main Event Tickets for the top ten players.

The late registration and reentry period is open for the first two 40-minute levels of the day and the 20-minute break that follows it. At 3:40 p.m. registration will be closed and level duration will increase to 45 minutes each. A 30-minute dinner break is scheduled after the fifth level of play and a 15-minute break after the eighth level of the day.

Play will continue until the money has been reached and everyone who makes Day 3 will get €3,500 credited to their casino account immediately. The money that has been paid out will be deducted from the prize pool and the remainder will be played for on Day 3. As there were also online versions of Day 1 and Day 2 on partypoker, on Day 3, six players will join the field with the stacks they earned online. And on Day 3 play will continue until a winner has been crowned with a live stream and hole cards from the start of the day.

Starting the day as the chip leader is Daniel Dinulescu with 388,700 in chips. He is followed closely by Arunas Jocius (384,700) and Yan Li who bagged 382,200 last night. Other familiar names who bagged big and have a good starting point for Day 2 include Georgios Vrakas, Amar Begovic, Ionut Voinea, Elena Litvinyuk, Naor Slobodskoy, Grzegorz Wyraz, and the defending champion, Martin Kabrhel.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be there from the first card of the deck until the final chip has been bagged so keep following the updates right here.
