Europe’s biggest poker room is welcoming all players at 2 PM local time who have made it to Day 2 of the WSOP International Circuit €1,700 Main Event who will be battling it out on the felt on their road to become the next Main Event Champion and claim that coveted gold WSOP Circuit Ring. For most players, their goal will be to make it into the money to grab their share of the €1,103,500 guaranteed prize pool. Over the first two starting days, 549 entries were collected with 241 players returning today.
The registration and reentry period is still open until the end of the break after Level 14 which is at approximately 3:50 PM local time. Players who busted over the past days can still enter today and reenter in case they, unfortunately, bust again (as long as it’s before 3:50 PM). Once the registration period has been closed, the full prize pool details will be announced.
The player who has the most chips to stack once they open their bags is the Day 1A chip leader, Peter Bstieler. Bstieler bagged 376,700 chips and is seated at the same table as Maureen Bloechlinger, one of the few women who participated in the Main Event. Bloechlinger collected 90,900 in chips. Also, at the same table is Italy’s Simone Agnoletto with 300,000 which is almost 190 big blinds so it’s expected that there will be enough action on the table.
Second in the chip counts today is Daniel Smiljkovic who went on a tear on Day 1A and amassed 366,500 chips at the end of his starting flight. He is seated at the same table as Jozef Mlcoch who doubled up at the end of Day 1B to claim most of his chips. Smiljkovic is part of Team Fuchsbau and one of the other guys who belong to the group is the Day 1B chip leader, Adi Rajkovic. Rajkovic triumphed and eliminated Stanislaw Miadzel in a pot worth just over 190 big blinds in one of the final hands of the night.
Filling up the top five to start today are Georgy Philippovich (317,000) and Daniel Szymanski with 309,000. Other notable players to keep an eye on include Grzegorz Wyraz, Hrair Yapoudjian, Wojciech Wyrebski, Michal Mrakes, Jan Bendik, Abdelhakim Zoufri, Eyal Bensimhon, Evangelos Bechrakis, Antonio Barbato, Martin Kabrhel, Lukas Zaskodny, and the WSOP Circuit High Roller winner Zhong Chen who have all bagged an above average stack.
Play will resume with Level 13 today which features a small blind of 800, big blind of 1,600, and a big blind ante of 1,600. A 20-minute break will take place after Level 14 after which registration will be closed. After Level 17 players will be sent on a 45-minute dinner break and after that there will two more 20-minutes breaks after every three levels with fourteen levels of play scheduled for today.
The live stream is expected to start after the dinner break but all the action from the floor will be brought to you by the PokerNews live reporting team now so stick around right here!
Level: 13
Blinds: 800/1,600
Ante: 1,600
The tournament director has welcomed all returning players and the 31 new entries or reentries to the tables and instructed the dealers to shuffle up and deal with the button in Seat 8.

Yunsheng Sun raised to 3,500 from the hijack and Emil Bise three-bet to 11,400 in the cutoff. Gurami Aptsiauri shoved his stack over the line from the small blind but didn't announce he was all-in so he was forced to just call. Sun also called.
The flop came , both Aptsiauri and Sun check-folded to the 16,000 continuation-bet of Bise.
"I had aces, you saved yourself," Bise said to Aptsiauri.
