Rishmague Scores a Double Knockout

Rishmague scores double knockout
Rishmague scores double knockout

Blinds 1,500-3,500

In a three-way min-raised pot to the {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop the action escalated as a pot of more than 300k emerged with two players at risk against "Rishmague".

Alex "El Internado" Balaguer: {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Marcello "D@rk_M@tter1" Miniucchi: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}
"Rishmague": {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

The {k-Hearts} turn instantly provided the flush and the {2-Clubs} river failed to keep Balaguer and Miniucchi in contention.

Amundsgaard Doubles

Blinds 1,500-3,000

On a flop of {q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, the chips of Veselin Karakitukov and Ola Amundsgaard went in with near identical stack sizes.

Ola Amundsgaard: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Veselin Karakitukov: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The {10-Clubs} turn instantly gave Amundsgaard the double and the {3-Clubs} river became a formality. Karakitukov was left short and busted shortly after.

Schemion Busts Larsson

Blinds 1,500-3,000

Lars Olsson got it in from under the gun with the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Ole Schemion looked him up with the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and the top two pair of Olsson were counterfeit on the river.

Early Busts With Reg Locked

Mercado Scores a Knockout

Mercado busts one
Mercado busts one

Blinds 1,500-3,000

Jesse "AAGenius88" Mercado raised from under the gun and called the jam by Loizos Protopapas out of the big blind.

Loizos Protopapas: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Jesse "AAGenius88" Mercado: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Mercado flopped the top pair and nut flush draw on the {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. The {a-Diamonds} turn made that trips while Protopapas now had a flush draw. No diamond appeared as the {j-Clubs} river gave Mercado a flush.

Radoja Unlucky and Busted

Blinds 1,500-3,000

Jesse "AAGenius88" Mercado potted in the small blind and Mark Radoja defended the big. Mercado potted the {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop and called when Radoja shoved for not much more.

Mercado: {a-}{8-}{4-}{3-}
Radoja: {a-}{k-}{q-}{7-}

Radoja was in fine shape especially when he turned the {k-Clubs} for trips, but the {5-Clubs} on the river gave Mercado a straight.

Barkov Busto to Tsang

Blinds 1,250-2,500

In a battle of the blinds, Aleksei Barkov got his late registration stack in with the {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} and was called by Anson "Tara@0z" Tsang with the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Vieira: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Barer: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Barer had turned an open-ender but missed it on the {3-Hearts} river.
