Watson Eliminated; Registration has Closed

Blinds 1,250-2,500

Mike Watson was among the last players to enter and immediately got his short stack in with the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. "Shinichi U" looked him up with the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs} and that improved on every street of the {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{a-Spades} board.

Right after the blinds went up and the registration closed.

Loeffler Ousted by Gerritse

Blinds 1,000-2,000

Kilian "Birdie Power" Loeffler raised to 5,000 in the cutoff and Dirk Gerritse flat-called on the button. Loeffler bet the {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop for 6,500 to earn a call and bet the pot for 26,000 on the {3-Spades} turn. Gerritse min-raised and Loeffler called for the 11,500 he had behind.

Kilian "Birdie Power" Loeffler: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Dirk Gerritse: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

The {5-Diamonds} river was of no help for Loeffler and he hit the rail.

Recent Eliminations

Frank Vanishes For Now

Blinds 1,000-2,000

Ole Schemion raised to 6,000 and was called by Christopher "Mangudai" Frank out of the big blind. The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Frank jammed for only 7,154, which Schemion called.

Christopher "Mangudai" Frank: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Ole Schemion: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

The {10-Spades} turn and {8-Diamonds} river brought no help to Frank and he headed to th rail.

Gryko Sends Another Dub to Karakitukov

Blinds 1,000-2,000

Veselin Karakitukov raised to 5,000 in middle position and Richard Gryko defended the big blind. Gryko check-called 5,500 on {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} then led out 14,740 on the {5-Diamonds}. Karakitukov went into the tank then shoved for 44,582.

Gryko called since he had {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for the nuts. Karakitukov had {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a combo draw and got there with a club on the river.

"77Storm77" Busts "Sophia218"

Sophia218 vs 77Storm77
Sophia218 vs 77Storm77

Blinds 900-1,800

"Sophia218" opened to 5,400 on the button, "77Storm77" three-bet the pot and then called a repot to 55,800 total. On the {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, "77Storm77" jammed for 75,131 and "Sophia218" called for fewer than that.

"Sophia218": {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}
"77Storm77": {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The {9-Spades} turn gave "77Storm77" a winning full house and the {7-Hearts} river was a formality.

Gerritse Busts Two

Blinds 900-1,800

Three players got all in preflop for about 25K apiece, with Dirk Gerritse easily covering Ronny Kaiser and "insomnia13."

Insomnia13: {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Gerritse: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Kaiser: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Gerritse was in a nice spot with his opponents sharing cards but the {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop brought two pair for Kaiser. No matter as Gerritse found the {6-Spades} to make aces up and held on the {q-Hearts} river.

Karakitukov Doubles Through Gryko

Blinds 900-1,800

Fresh off a re-entry, Veselin Karakitukov got it in with the {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and was called by Richard Gryko with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and the turned set won it for Karakikutov.
