Caldwell went from needing a jack to a king on the 
flop, leading someone to comment on "swapped outs." The king arrived right away and Mullennix couldn't find a chop on the river.
On a completed board of 
, Brett Apter bet 275,000 from the big blind into about 200,000. Jorden Helstern took some time then folded 
face up.
The floor was called to the final table and it seemed an odd situation had developed. Brett Apter hadn't acted, though he had 20,000 in front of him under the gun, and action had folded to big blind Steve Buell. The 20,000 was the big blind ante, though, and Apter had been thinking he was big blind. The supervisor ruled Apter could call or fold but do nothing aggressive. Apter opted to call and Buell checked.
Buell bet 30,000 on the 
flop and 50,000 on the 
turn. Apter stuck around for the 
river and Buell bet 60,000. Apter made it 140,000 and Buell tank-folded.
"That was probably the weirdest hand I've ever played," Apter said.

Ian Nelson got a shove through on the button and showed pocket eights. Then, he shoved in the hijack for 270,000 and Brett Apter called on his left.

Earlier, Dean Hoffman got kings in against a set of fives and ran out a wheel on the board to chop. This time, what went around came back around as he got aces in against the of Kevin Waller, only for both players to river a wheel to chop.
