Thomas Doubles Through Cartwright

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Benjamin Thomas opened to 22,000 in early position and was called by Blake Whittington a couple of seats over. Kyle Cartwright stuck in a three-bet to 76,000 on the button and Thomas replied with a four-bet shove for 159,000. Whittington quickly folded and Cartwright confirmed the count before making the call.

Benjamin Thomas: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Kyle Cartwright: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The flop of {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} gave Cartwright a straight draw to go along with his one overcard. However, the {2-Diamonds} on the turn and the {9-Hearts} on the river was not enough for him as Thomas scored the double up.
