Turn Bet Earns Henderson the Pot

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

Jeremy Moore opened to 700 from under the gun and picked up four callers along the way. The dealer spread the flop of {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades} and the action checked to Trace Henderson in the hijack who bet 1,500. The action folded around to Kenneth Ware who was the last person with cards and he made the call.

The turn brought the {j-Hearts} and Ware checked again. Henderson counted out another bet of 2,700 and Ware decided to let his hand go this time.

Bazeley and Whittington Clash Preflop

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Blake Whittington opened to 500 in middle position and Jake Bazeley stuck in a three-bet to 2,200 from the big blind. Whittington thought for a moment before announcing all in and Bazeley quickly called off his remaining 13,000 chips.

Blake Whittington: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Jake Bazeley: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

It was a classic coin flip but Whittington took the lead on the {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. Bazeley would need to catch one of the two remaining queens in the deck or running straight cards in order to stay alive but was unable to do so.

Osborne Finishes Off Marvel

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

After losing a large pot to Blake Whittington earlier on, Peace Marvel quickly dwindled down to just 3,000 chips. He shoved all in from early position and was called by James Osborne in the blinds.

James Osborne: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Peace Marvel: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Osborne was in a dominating position and the board of {j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} changed nothing as Marvel became the first player eliminated on the day.

Whittington Flops a Set

Level 2 : 100/100, 100 ante

Picking up the action on a completed board of {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Spades}, Peace Marvel and Blake Whittington were heads-up in a pot that already had around 15,000 in the middle.

Marvel checked from the small blind and Whittington tossed in a bet of 14,000 from under the gun. Marvel gave it some thought and elected to make the call. Whittington flipped over {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a set of sevens and Marvel conceded the pot.
