Rob Wazwaz
Rob Wazwaz

Igor Hot checked a {6-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop from the small blind, and James Burns checked in the big blind. Rob Wazwaz bet 1,500 into a pot of 3,400 from the hijack, and both Hot and Burns called.

All three players checked the {k-Diamonds} turn, and Hot checked the {3-Hearts} river. Burns bet 5,000, Wazwaz called, and Hot folded.

Burns tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for a Broadway straight, but Wazwaz rivered the flush with his {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to take down the pot.

The second and final starting flight of the WSOP Circuit $1,700 Main Event here at Potawatomi Hotel and Casino is set to kick off at 11 a.m. starting time, and a host of players both new and returning are slated to hit the felt in hopes of joining the 32 players that bagged up chips in yesterday's Day 1a flight.

Other players expected to join Cosby today include Brian Altman, Ian Matakis, Todd Sladek, and Ricky Landais.

Big blind ante kicks in at Level 2. Registration and a single re-entry option are available up through the beginning of Level 13, which is approximately 8:45 p.m. local time.

With 204 entrants in yesterday's flight, the guarantee is all but certain to be met. How big will the prize pool get, and who will make it through to Day 2 action? Stay tuned to PokerNews as Day 1b play gets underway here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
