Shin Triples Up with Cowboys

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Marcus Yofon opened for 20,000 from the hijack and Mike Shin three-bet jammed for 35,000 on the button. Action was on Joseph Reiman who four-bet to 89,000 from the small blind and was called by Yofon.

The flop fell {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Reiman moved all in getting a quick fold from Yofon.

Mike Shin: {k-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Joseph Reiman: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Shin was way ahead and the {a-Clubs} turn didn't change a thing nor the {6-Hearts} river, securing Shin's triple-up.

Zarco Rivers the Nuts and Gets Paid

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Javier Zarco
Javier Zarco

A pot of 125,000 had already built up between Gerald Siemienas in the big blind and Javier Zarco in the hijack, and the complete {3-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board was already on the felt.

Siemienas checked over to Zarco, who jammed for 179,000. Siemienas called, showing {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a turned nut straight, but Zarco had rivered the nuts himself with his {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} to earn a big double.

Shing Stings Another

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Tsz Shing raised to 19,000 from the cutoff, then called a three-bet shove for 102,000 from Jeff Schwartz on the button.

Jeff Schwartz: {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Tsz Shing: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

"That's no good," Schwartz said when the {2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs} flop left him looking for runner-runner. The {j-Hearts} turn gave Schwartz a glimmer of hope, but the {10-Clubs} river ended his run.

Yofon Ends Brown's Day

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jeremy Brown jammed for 65,000 from the cutoff, and Marcus Yofon three-bet shoved on the button for 120,000 effective, chasing out Craig Trost and Mike Shin in the blinds.

Jeremy Brown: {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Marcus Yofon: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Brown would pick up a gutshot to go with his live cards by the turn of an {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} board, but the {7-Spades} river left Yofon with the pot and the knockout.

Gruner Falls to Shing

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Brandon Gruner jammed for 80,000 from the hijack, and Tsz Shing called on the button.

Brandon Gruner: {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Tsz Shing: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Gruner couldn't find any help on a {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} board to hit the rail.

Pelz Eliminated by Banducci

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Michael Banducci opened under the gun and Ian Pelz three-bet jammed for 81,000 from the hijack. Actino folded back around to Banducci who called.

Ian Pelz: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Michael Banducci: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Pelz was dominated and needed some but didn't receive any from the {2-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop.

The {a-Clubs} turn paired both players and Pelz needed to spike a queen on the river to stay alive.

Unfortunately for Pelz, the river fell the {3-Hearts} ending his tournament.

Zuccarello Takes a Chunk From Scully

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Cero Zuccarello
Cero Zuccarello

Aaron Johnson raised to 17,000 from middle position, and was called by Cero Zuccarello in the cutoff, Ryan Scully on the button, and Vincent Torcolese in the big blind.

Action checked through the {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop, and action checked to Zuccarello on the {9-Hearts} turn. Zuccarello bet 50,000 and only Scully called.

Both players checked the {j-Hearts} river, and Scully tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Zuccarello beat Scully on the turn with his {k-Spades}{9-Spades}, however, and took down the pot.

Pupillo Makes Good River Call

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
James Pupillo
James Pupillo

Action folded around to James Pupillo who raised to 21,000 from the small blind and Chris Roth defended his big blind to see the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop.

Pupillo continued for 20,000 and Roth called.

The board paired with the {j-Diamonds} on the turn and Pupillo check-called Roth's 30,000 bet to the {10-Spades} river.

Pupillo checked his option once again and Roth fired out 80,000. Pupillo glared at Roth for a few minutes before tossing out a 5,000 chip for the call.

Roth tabled {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} but it was no good as Pupillo turned over {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} to scoop the pot.

Golla Wields the Big Stack

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Pratap Golla
Pratap Golla

Pratap Golla bet 70,000 into a pot of 125,000 on a {q-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} board from the big blind, and Nikolas Stone tanked for a minute before making the call from the hijack.

The {7-Hearts} completed the board on the river, and Golla bet 500,000, more than enough to put Stone at risk for his last 220,000. Stone thought for just a moment before releasing his hand.
