Pappas held the lead with his kicker through the flop and turn, but the hit the river, causing Pappas to slam the table with emotion before apologizing. Pappas wished the table luck before heading to get paid, having now made two consecutive deep runs here at Potawatomi after September's Main Event, where he finished in tenth place.
