Steinman Pulls a Pot from Mcalpin

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

The completed board had {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} face-up, Ian Steinman and Joe Kuether each tapped the table to Maria Mcalpin who fired 6,000 into a pot that contained about 10,000.

Steinman was the lone-caller and Mcalpin turned over {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a missed flush draw. Steinman tabled his {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, giving him a flopped king and more than enough to scoop the pot.

All three of his opponents threw their cards into the muck, sending the pot to Ostapchenko who tabled {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top pair with a straight draw as he scooped in the chips.

Wong Takes Down a Pot

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante

Ralph Wong raised to 1,100 on the button and the big blind player three-bet to 2,300. A player in the hijack called and Wong four-bet to 8,000. The big blind opponent folded and the hijack player stuck around to see the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop.

Both players tapped to the {6-Spades} turn where action fell to Wong again and he bet 10,000. His opponent released their hand and Wong pulled in a relatively easy pot.
