Lee Fires on All Cylinders

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Eli Elezra opened to 1,300 from middle position and Stanley Lee three-bet to 3,700. Elezra called and the dealer fanned out {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} on the flop.

Action checked to Lee, he bet 3,000 and Elezra check-called to see the {j-Spades} turn card. Elezra again tapped to Lee who again bet, this time for 10,000.

Elezra called and the {k-Spades} completed the board. Lee saw action check to him and moved all in, totaling about 37,000 and Elezra threw his hand into the muck, shipping the pot to Lee.

Varnell Lands Quads, Drops a Player

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante

Craig Varnell opened to 800 from under the gun and three players called to see the {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop. Varnell saw action check to him and he fired in 1,000.

An opponent on the button raise to 4,000 and Varnell was the only person to call and see the {k-Spades} turn card. He checked to his opponent who bet 6,000 and Varnell check-raised his opponent all in, they obliged.

Varnell tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for three cowboys and his opponent turned over {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a flush draw. The {k-Hearts} river added insult to injury as he landed quad kings, eliminating his opponent from the tournament.
