Sick Runout Eliminates Lhote

TMV opened from early position for 25,000 before PMU.fr Ambassador Joffrey Lhote jammed for 210,000. TMV called and players turned over their cards.

Lhote was behind before and after the {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop but then took a huge lead in the hand after the {10-Diamonds} came on the turn to give him a full house. The {a-Diamonds} completed the board on the river to give TMV a better full house and Lhote was eliminated in 44th place.

Zoubir Mahi hit the rail just before Lhote in 45th place and Andres Marques and Gaja went soon after.

Meanwhile, Salah Eddine Taleb, who had the chip lead at the dinner break is out in 46th place and Mounim Kaddouri went out just before in 47th place.

El Hajouji Runs Into Big Slick

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ismail El Hajouji jammed a small stack of around six big blinds with {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and was called by an opponent with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}.

The {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop paired his opponent and El Hajouji was drawing dead after the {3-Diamonds} came on the turn. The {10-Clubs} completed the board on the river and El Hajouji was eliminated in 49th place.

Also recently hitting the rail was Tom Laghzaoui in 50th place.

TMV Back in the Lead

TMV has a big stack of 1.5 million in chips in front of him. Meanwhile, Salah Eddine Taleb, who is at the same table, is down to around 400,000.

TMV shared that he got his chips when a player called he flopped trips with {k-}{9-} and a player called him down on three streets with {6-}{6-} on a {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-} board.

Taleb's chips went over to Mohamed Bouzgarrou. Bouzgarrou got it all-in with kings and held against Taleb's jacks.

Forge Eliminated

Tristan Forge jammed 110,000 from the hijack with {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} and was called by a player with the nickname Pablo from the small blind.

Gogniat Runs into Aces

A player opened from under the gun for 20,000 before Thierry Gogniat jammed for 163,000 from one seat over. A player with the nickname Dani Rodriguez cold-called from the cutoff and everyone still with cards folded.

Gogniat was a huge underdog and was eliminated after the {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} board was unable to help him stay in the hand. Eliminated just before Gogniat was a Spanish player with the nickname Cesar.

Andrew Hills jammed a little more than six big blinds from early position. He got a call from the player in the cutoff before a player with the nickname Raul jammed for more than 400,000 from the big blind. The other player in the hand folded and players turned over their cards.

Hills was pushing his ace forward near the flop in hopes one would come. Instead, he paired his eight after the {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} appeared on the flop.

A player told Hills that he should also push his eight forward as this was also now good. He listened and as fate would have it a {8-Spades} came to give Hills a full house.

The {3-Spades} completed the board on the river and Hills tripled up.

Meanwhile, Henrik Brockmann and Eric Rabut were both eliminated at other tables and there are 56 players remaining.
