Colavita Felted by Bystrovzorov

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Dmytro Bystrovzorov
Dmytro Bystrovzorov

Dmytro Bystrovzorov raised to 2,000 and received two callers in Marek Blasko and Mark Ruvinov. Mario Colavita then jammed for the last 11,000 and was called by Bystrovzorov and Ruvinov. The {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop was checked and Ruvinov bet the {9-Clubs} turn for 15,000, earning a call from Bystrovzorov.

After the {10-Spades} river, Ruvinov check-called a bet worth 20,000 by Bystrovzorov and flashed the {a-}{9-} for a pair of nines. Bystrovzorov had that beat with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the straight and Colavita was sent to the rail with {k-}{q-}.

Chaitas Doubles Through King-Jack

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

With some 16,000 in the middle and the flop showing {4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}, it was Miroslav Forman who had 14,600 in front out of the blinds. Ioannis Chaitas pushed all-in for more than 43,000 and that forced out Massimo De Mario. Forman tank-called with the word "okay" and then quickly added a "fuck" when the cards were revealed.

Ioannis Chaitas: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Miroslav Forman: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

The superior flush draw remained supreme throughout the {9-Clubs} turn and {10-Clubs} river to let the Greek-German double.

Ricci Busts Schill

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Heads-up to the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop, Andrea Ricci made it 8,000 to go and Alexander Schill then gave it some thought before moving all-in for 31,300 total. Ricci mulled it over for half a minute and made the call with the superior stack.

Alexander Schill: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Andrea Ricci: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The {k-Hearts} turn changed nothing yet but Ricci got there with the {8-Clubs} river to improve to the nut flush.

Recent Eliminations

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

The pace of eliminations has picked up in the third level of the day. Among the recent casualties was PLO specialist Ermanno Di Nicola and he was joined on the rail by Andrei Makavets, Narcis Nedelcu and Ali Sameeian. The latter had mentioned not long ago that he lost most of his stack with kings versus aces to then depart a few minutes later.

Out of a field of 184 entries, only 155 players remain in the third level of the day.

Neuville Survives Showdown Against Parmisciano

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

The cards were already on their backs when Pierre Neuville was all-in for 14,100 on the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop. He was looked up by the table big stack Aguinaldo Parmisciano in the small blind, who had more than tripled up his stack already.

Pierre Neuville: {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Aguinaldo Parmisciano: {10-Spades}{8-Spades}

The {a-Spades} turn and {4-Spades} river avoided the second bustout of Neuville but he remained below the starting stack.

Mrakes Boosts Stack Without Showdown

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

With just 10,000 in the middle to the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop, a raising war broke out between Michal Mrakes and Eugen Rolif. The latter eventually squeezed to 41,000 only for Mrakes to then move all-in for around 81,500 in total. Rolif tanked for two minutes and sent the cards into the muck as Mrakes claimed nearly one full starting stack in the process without the need to show.

Bise Loses Loads; Busts After

Level 4 : 200/500, 500 ante
Emil Bise
Emil Bise

Four ways to the {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop, the action checked to Emil Bise on the button and he bet 10,000. Only Stephanie Agostinetti called out of the big blind while Andro Scarpa from under the gun and Janja in the cutoff folded.

The {7-Spades} turn was checked and Agostinetti then bet the {8-Diamonds} river for 25,000. Bise mulled it over for a few seconds and called to get shown the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} by Agostinetti, briefly flashing his {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for trips eights. After the hand was over, Bise banged his hand on the table and the remaining 14,000 chips vanished shortly after.
