Cohen Shocked to Still be in Tournament

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On a board of {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades} Yehuda Cohen bets 45,000. Alfredo Cuti cautiously made the call.

Yehuda Cohen : {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Alfredo Cuti: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Cohen is stunned that Cuti did not raise with his set over set. Cohen proclaimed "I would have called if you went all in!"

The bubble continues.

Lorenzo Lavis

Marian Beldie got his short stack in with the {k-}{q-} and was looked up by Lorenzo Lavis with the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}. The {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} board provided no help to Beldie and the field was reduced to the final 72 players. Upon completion of the current hand, the money bubble will be played in hand-for-hand mode.

Triple up for Paunescu on Verge of Bubble

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ciprian Paunescu
Ciprian Paunescu

Ciprian Paunescu moved all-in for approximately 150,000. Rama Mulaj smooth called before Daniele D'Angelo moved all in. Mulaj looked dejected by the move made by D'Angelo. Mulaj folded face-up {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Ciprian Paunescu: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Daniele D'Angelo: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The flop of {5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} was kind to Paunescu, but Mulaj was cursing his luck as he missed out on a set. It got worse for Mulaj as the next two cards were {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Paunescu gets a much needed triple-up before the bubble, while Mulaj was visibly distressed for not making quads.

Parkhanov Doubles Through Colavita

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Mario Colavita pushed into four shorter stacks behind him and one of them called. Oleksiy Parkhanov committed his last 141,000 out of the small blind to create the following showdown.

Oleksiy Parkhanov: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Mario Colavita: {5-Clubs}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and Parkhanov doubled two away from the money.

De Neve Gets Value From Bartolone

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With 150,000 in the middle, the turn showed {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} and both Vincent De Neve and Nicolo Bartolone checked. De Neve bet the {4-Clubs} river for 165,000 and Bartolone called to get shown the {7-Spades}{3-Spades} for a straight by De Neve. Bartolone mucked the {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} to the table for a hero call gone wrong.

Di Giacomo Gets Value From Schafer

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Nadir Kinno raise-folded when Claudio Di Giacomo called and Arthur Schafer three-bet to 85,000 on the button. Di Giacomo came along in the hijack to see the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} flop, on which the Italian check-called for 60,000. Both checked the {j-Diamonds} turn and Di Giacomo bet the {8-Spades} river for 75,000.

Schafer called but mucked when Di Giacomo revealed the {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

"That's impossible man, I folded ace-jack," Kinno remarked in table chat.

The Bubble is Looming

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Bartosz Pajak was all-in with a short stack holding the {8-Spades}{5-Hearts} out of the blinds and Andrea Ricci looked him up with the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. On a board of {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Pajak flopped best but Ricci restored the preflop order thereafter.

Nicolas Maillaud then departed over on table 80 before the action was back on Ricci. From under the gun, he check-raised the {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop from 20,000 to 45,000. Jaromir Hanel pushed all-in and Ricci folded.

With 73 players remaining, Ricci plummeted to all but 14 big blinds as a result.

Kinno K.O's Caymaz

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Goekhan Caymaz
Goekhan Caymaz

A huge betting war started with Nadir Kinno betting 25,000. Goekhan Caymaz immediately three-betted to 75,000 which was followed by another raise by Kinno to 240,000. Before Kinno's four-bet landed on the felt Caymaz announced all-in and was snap-called by Kinno.

Goekhan Caymaz: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Nadir Kinno: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The board fell {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} which was no help to Caymaz. Both players had a similar stack going into the hand but Kinno just had Caymaz covered to send him to the rail.

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Aleksandar Nanchev
Aleksandar Nanchev

"Can you believe it, he called all-in with ace-king," Martin Kabrhel said as he had just knocked out Aleksandar Nanchev. The {q-Spades}{4-Spades} of Kabrhel cracked {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} thanks to turning a flush on the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts} board and Nanchev stormed out of the tournament area without a single word.
