Tim Zachow Eliminated in 19th Place (€7,138)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Tim Zachow
Tim Zachow

Tim Zachow had three-bet jammed in the previous hand to get through with it and then had a stack of 785,000 at his disposal.

He opened to 80,000 and Rama Mulaj called from one seat over. Ciprian Paunescu then three-bet to 250,000 and Zachow pushed for Mulaj to fold and Paunescu to snap-call.

Tim Zachow: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Ciprian Paunescu: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

There was no help for the dominated pair on the {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{k-Spades} board and Zachow had to settle for 19th place and a payday of €7,138,

Zoran Dordevic Elminated in 20th Place (€7,138)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Zoran Dordevic
Zoran Dordevic

Zoran Dordevic put his tournament life on the line by pushing all-in under the gun. Action folded around to the big blind Fausto Tantillo who called instantly.

Zoran Dordevic: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Fausto Tantillo: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Tantillo, the table boss woke up with 'Big Slick' to the disappointment of Dordevic. The flop came {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} which was no help for the Serbian and the {a-Hearts} on the turn left him only drawing to a queen which did not come as the {2-Spades} hit the river.

Marek Sulc Eliminated in 21st Place (€6,308)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Marek Sulc
Marek Sulc

In the final hand on the outer tables, Marek Sulc pushed for what appeared to have been six blinds or fewer out of the small blind. Luc Ta just glanced at one of his cards and then called.

Marek Sulc: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Luc Ta: {10-Spades}{7-Spades}

The {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} flop left Sulc in bad shape as Ta also had the flush draw on top. Nothing changed on the {2-Hearts} turn and the {3-Clubs} river sent Sulc to the rail in 21st place for €6,308.

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Rama Mulaj opened the action with a raise to 75,000 from under the gun. He was called by Luc Ta in the cutoff and Martin Kabrhel then three-bet to 320,000 out of the big blind with just shy of 1,100,000 total at his disposal.

Mulaj then pushed all-in and Ta was flabbergasted for a moment but opted to fold. "Is there a pay jump?" Kabrhel jokingly asked and called with a smile on the face a few moments later.

Martin Kabrhel: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Rama Mulaj: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop left Kabrhel on thin ice and his elimination was confirmed by the time the {4-Hearts} appeared on the turn. What followed was the {3-Hearts} on the river and Kabrhel went from chip leader to 22nd place finisher in the span of 15 minutes.

Lorenzo Lavis Eliminated in 23rd Place (€6,308)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Lorenzo Lavis
Lorenzo Lavis

On the outer tables, the flop showed {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and that's when the remaining short stack of Lorenzo Lavis out of the big blind went into the middle. He was looked up by Luc Ta, who had raised from the hijack.

Lorenzo Lavis: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Luc Ta: {k-Spades}{2-Spades}

The {10-Diamonds} turn and {8-Spades} river failed to keep Lavis in contention and he bowed out in 23rd place for €6,308.

"Wow, you really raise with king deuce?" Kabrhel asked to Ta while the latter was busy stacking the newly won chips.

Itamar Nachshon Eliminated in 24th Place (€5,479)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Itamar Nachshon
Itamar Nachshon

Within two hands, the stack of Itamar Nachshon vanished as Gregor Sverko doubled through him and he then lost the last of it the next hand.

Sverko had raised and Nachshon defended to see the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop go check, check. With the {7-Diamonds} following on the turn, Nachshon check-jammed into a bet worth 90,000 by Sverko for 955,000 and Sverko called all-in for 860,000 after some deliberation.

Gregor Sverko: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Itamar Nachshon: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The {5-Spades} river bricked and Nachshon was left with 95,000 which he got in the next hand. Besnik Lalinovci and Nedeljko Todorovic looked that up and Lalinovci bet the {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} turn for 100,000, earning a call from his countryman.

Lalinovci bet the {7-Diamonds} river for 125,000 and Todorovic folded to get shown the {q-Spades}{10-Clubs} for the top pair by Lalinovci. Nachshon only had the {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and was eliminated in 24th place for €5,479.

Colossal Tussle Between Kabrhel and Kinno

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel bet 55,000 on the button with Nadir Kinno calling from the big blind.

The board was {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} where Kabrhel made a bet of 50,000. Kinno check-raised to 120,000. Kinno did not opt to continue on the {3-Hearts} turn which allowed Kabrhel to pick up the betting lead once again to the tune of 130,000 which Kinno called.

The river brought the {4-Hearts} Kinno checked to Kabrhel who was deep in thought for his next move. A player on the table asked for the clock but Kabrhel made a big bet of 505,000 before the tournament director could get to the table. Kinno counted out some chips but then noticed something weird, there was silence at the table.

Kinno called Kabrhel out on it but the two-time bracelet winner kept composed and silent throughout. Kinno asked for a coin which a tablemate gave him and on the fate of a toss of a coin Kinno called. Kabrhel turned over {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Kinno mucks his cards in disgust, and Kabrhel drags in a massive pot to become one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Chen Eliminated by Volkov

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Li Chen
Li Chen

The extraordinarily intense roller coaster ride of Li Chen, who had culminated on a stack of more than 1.5 million, has come to a crushing end. Several players at the table previously benefited but the final hand of Chen started in a limped battle of the blinds with Ruslan Volkov, who just called and Chen checked.

On the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, Volkov bet-called a raise to 100,000 and checked the {4-Hearts} on the turn. Chen jammed for more than 500,000 and was snapped off by Volkov.

Li Chen: {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Ruslan Volkov: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

No card in the deck except for a joker could help Chen and his elimination was officially confirmed with the {7-Clubs} river as Volkov soared to more than two million in chips.

Zero Chips for Glot; Kabrhel Has a Lot

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Benyamin Glot
Benyamin Glot

The action folded all the way to Benyamin Glot in the small blind and he pushed all-in for 520,000. Martin Kabrhel was in the big blind and asked for an exact count. His usual table chat then started and one of the first questions he asked was "What do you have? Ace seven?"

Glot shook his head and Kabrhel kept guessing a few further hands while he was in the tank for nearly four minutes. Silviu Baltateanu then asked for time and Kabrhel was given 30 seconds, which he acknowledged with "I also call for the clock."

The time to act was nearly depleted as Kabrhel tossed in a single chip for the call with two seconds remaining.

Benyamin Glot: {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Martin Kabrhel: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

"You lied to me, now you gonna bust," Kabrhel said with his usual semi-serious table chatter as the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop appeared. Nothing changed on the {10-Clubs} turn just yet but Kabrhel's prediction came true on the {q-Hearts} river.

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Claudio Di Giacomo
Claudio Di Giacomo

Josef Gulas Jr raised from an early position and Claudio Di Giacomo called in the big blind. On a flop of {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, Di Giacomo checked and Gulas Jr bet 40,000. What followed was the check-raise to 403,000 by Di Giacomo, who had kept 15,000 behind. Gulas Jr called and then called the all-in after the {7-Spades} turn.

Claudio Di Giacomo: {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}
Josef Gulas Jr: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

The {j-Clubs} river was a blank and that spelled the end for Di Giacomo.

Ali Reza Youzbashi Dizaji followed shortly after as the early carnage continued.
