Josef Gulas Eliminated in 24th Place (€6,287)

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Josef Gulas
Josef Gulas

In a battle of the blinds, Sharon Sade raised to 95,000 and Josef Gulas called in the big blind. Sade bet 100,000 on the {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop for Gulas to call and then bet 200,000 on the {5-Spades} turn. Gulas pushed all-in and Sade called after brief consideration.

Josef Gulas: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Sharon Sade: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Gulas was caught bluffing and found himself drawing dead even before the {k-Spades} river ended his run in 24th place for €6,287.

Calzoni Eliminated by Tran's Big Blind Special

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Matteo Calzoni
Matteo Calzoni

On the feature table, the three-way flop showed {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Michael Ugucctoni bet 80,000 and Do Tran called. Matteo Calzoni then shoved for 705,000 to force out Ugucctoni and earn a call from Tran.

Matteo Calzoni: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Do Tran: {q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

The {8-Spades} turn changed nothing and the {q-Diamonds} river only improved Tran to a full house, reducing the field to the final 24 contenders.

Georgita Eliminated by Di Giacomo

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Down to the last 310,000, Mihaita Georgita jammed from the cutoff and was looked up by Claudio Di Giacomo in the small blind.

Mihaita Georgita: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Claudio Di Giacomo: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

On a board of {j-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}, neither of the overcards struck and that sent Georgita out in 27th place.

Mihajlovski Eliminated by Andrian

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Oliver Mihajlovski
Oliver Mihajlovski

Simone Andrian limped in with the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} in the small blind and Oliver Mihajlovski checked in the big blind with the {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}. The {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop brought a bet worth 90,000 by Andrian and the shove by Mihajlovski for 270,000 more, earning a call.

Nothing changed on the {10-Hearts} turn and the {a-Clubs} river to bust Mihajlovski in 26th place.

Cirillo Jams Into the Lead

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Three ways to the {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Spades} flop, Josef Gulas bet 125,000 and Gert Jan Albers raised to 275,000. Matteo Cirillo called and Gulas did so as well. The {8-Spades} turn was checked to Albers who bet 335,000. Only Cirillo called and then opted to jam the {3-Spades} river when a fourth spade appeared.

Albers had around one million behind and folded.

Andrian Busts Gondrom

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

On the live stream table, Andreas Gondrom got it in with the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} only to find himself crushed by the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} of Simone Andrian.

The board ran out {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and that spelled the end for Gondrom.
