Gray Turns Hand Into Bluff on River

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Matthew Gray raised to 200,000 from under the gun with {j-Spades}{10-Spades}. Steven Warburton three-bet from hijack to 475,000, which Gray called.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Gray checked and Warburton bet 200,000, which Gray called. The turn was the {7-Spades} and both players checked.

The river was the {a-Hearts}. Gray led out for an unusually small river bet of 125,000. Warburton put in a raise to 475,000 and Gray three-bet to 1,100,000 chips. Warburton threw his time bank cards into the middle and sat up in his seat, eventually making the fold.

Gray had successfully turned his hand into a bluff and chipped up to 3,900,000.
