Day 1b of the WSOPC UK £1,100 Main Event, held at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, has now concluded. A total of 252 entries were recorded for the second flight and, of those, 76 have made it through to Day 2.

Following 12 levels of play, Jack Allen finished the day as the chip leader with over 500,000 chips. Allen has had some serious cashes in the World Series of Poker, including a finish in the $10k Main Event to the tune of $121,500.

In second place is Jiaze Li, followed by Zak Carson in third and Chris Sieder in fourth.

Joining them towards the top of the table are Ryan Spittles and Rupinder Bedi, both with close to 350,000 chips. Both are regulars on the UK live circuit who have many significant cashes to their names.

Timothy Chung, Marian Butu, Paul Hizer, Garry Spinks and Nick Hicks are also among the top chip leaders from Day 1b.

The action kicked off with some early bust outs. James O'Brien hit top two pair to knock Astijus Saulinskis out of the tournament, and shortly after Vladim Gercev eliminated Simon Higgins.

Bixi Yao cracked Vincent Meli’s straight with her full house. She chipped up early and still has a playable stack. Later on in the night, Terry Carter held up with aces to to triple him up and eliminate Ryan Eborall.

Remaining players from Day 1a and Day 1b will merge tomorrow, meaning a total of 140 players will return to the felt for Day 2. There will also be a change to the structure of the event. Blind levels are set to increase to 60 minutes and the tournament will play for 10 levels, with a break every two levels.

William Kassouf raised to 7,500 from under the gun and Frank Bastow moved all in for his remaining 11,500 chips. Thomas Powell called in the big blind and Kassouf also called.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Spades}. Powell checked, Kassouf bet 16,000 and Powell folded. Players flipped their cards.

Terry Carter raised preflop and Tan Le reraised. Carter made the call and two players went to the flop, which came {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Carter bet out 5,000 and Le called.

The turn was the {a-Clubs}. Carter checked and Le bet 7,500, which Carter called. The river was the {8-Clubs} and Carter checked once again. Le responded by pushing all in and for the rest of Carter's chips. Carter made the fold and Le continued to chip up.
