Lin Scares Away the Opposition

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Middle position raised to 15,000 and the cutoff three-bet to 50,000.

Bryan Lin raised to 100,000 from the small blind and the inital raiser made the fold.

The cutoff went into the tank with a little under 100,000 behind. Eventually they found the fold for Lin to take the pot.

Aggression Pays off for Dugal

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Late position raised to 12,000 and Jacob Dugal three-bet to 42,000 from the cutoff. The opposing player made the call.

The flop came 109A and the late position player was quick to check.

Dugal continued for 33,000 and was rewarded with the pot.

Bibek Karki Leads the Field Heading Into Day 2 of The Colossus

The first of 15 WSOP-C ring events will reach a conclusion today at the 2024 World Series of Poker Circuit Playground here at Playground. Eleven starting flights created a massive field of 2,402 entrants and a total prize pool of $500,000. That field has been whittled down to just 126 players going into the second and final day.

Bibek Karki holds the overall chip lead going into Day 2, having bagged 969,000 worth 162 big blinds. Other top stacks to start the day today include Rodney Ramalho (933,000), and Rami Bargout (882,000).

The last time this event was held was in April 2024, Keven Desgagne overcame a field of 3,964 entrants to take home $89,735 CAD and a WSOP circuit ring.
