Rivest Doubles Through Chen

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Kevin Rivest opened to 35,000 from early position, Wenping Chen moved all in from the big blind and Rivest, whose stack of 379,000 was covered, made the call and was at risk.

Rivest had the best of it preflop with a bigger ace and remained ahead on the 437K4 runout to score a full double up while Chen was left with roughly ten big blinds.

Jugurnath Leaves Staples Short

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

With two players seeing a board of 729 and roughly 90,000 in the middle, Jaime Staples checked in the big blind and Anoop Jugurnath bet 45,000 from the button. Staples check-raised to 95,000 and Jugurnath made the call.

Staples bet 80,000 on the 6 turn and was once again called by Jugurnath.

On the 6 river Staples slowed down with a check. Jugurnath moved all in, covering Staples who had a bit under 200,000 behind and Staples' hand hit the muck.

The flop came K53 and Billard check-called a 30,000 continuation bet from Liu.

Billard checked again on the 2 turn and Liu bet 175,000 which was enough to force a fold from Billard.
