Romanelli Finds the Hero Call
Massimo Romanelli opened the cutoff to 1,200 before getting three-bet by Roberto Paniccia on the button to 2,800. The rest of the players folded and its worth noting that the big blind accidentally flipped over a king as he mucked.
The 6♣5♦7♦ flop landed and it checked to Paniccia who checked back on their way to a K♦ turn. It checked to Paniccia again who opted to put his foot back on the gas with a bet of 3,500. Romanelli called.
The 2♠ rolled off on the river and Romanelli checked for the last time. Paniccia quickly gathered a bet of 6,000 and tossed it out. Romanelli basically snap called and got the good news.
Paniccia tabled A♥8♥ for just ace-high and Romanelli rolled over an impressive call with 3♦3♠ to scoop.
Is it possible the pre-flop exposed king influenced the call?
