Winner of the WSOPC High Roller yesterday, Anthony Apicella is now in the Main Event. From the button, he opened to 2,000. The small blind wanted to raise, but his action was a call, allowing the big blind to call as well.

The dealer fanned a flop of 258 and the small blind led out for 3,000. Apicella was the only one to call.

Both players checked the Q leading to the 3 river where the small blind bet 4,000. Apicella eventually made the call, but lost to his opponent's 99.
