Gehbauer's Straight Earns Him the Pot

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On a flop of J910, Jurgen Berthold checked from the big blind and Florian Gehbauer bet 1,700 from under the gun. Berthold check-raised to 3,500, and after a few moments, Gehbauer three-bet to 8,900. Berthold continued with a call.

From the cutoff, Sanjay Haran made it 1,800 to go, and Evangelos Defteraios called on the button. Mo Xu squeezed it up to 16,000 out of the big blind with just a few hundred chips behind. Haran jammed for about 50,000, which forced Defteraios to fold. Xu called, and the players revealed their cards.

Mo Xu: A9 All in
Sanjay Haran: QJ

Upon seeing Haran's queen-high, Defteraios exclaimed, "You crazy man!"

Xu was currently ahead with ace-high, but Haran held two live Broadway cards.

Xu hit top pair on the 974 flop, and remained ahead after the 4 rolled out on the turn.

A K on the river wasn't any help for Haran, and Xu secured the much-needed double-up.

Frédéric Delval: AK All in
Marco Kempf : KK

It was a brutal cooler for Delval, who needed to find an ace on the runout to beat the pocket kings of Kempf.
