With a pot of 6,000 having already amassed by the turn of a board showing A3Q8, Philippe Genilloud checked from the hijack. Guillaume Molinod fired out for 4,000 from the cutoff, which Genilloud quickly called.

Genilloud checked for the last time on the 3 river, and Molinod bet 15,000. Genilloud, again, quickly called, and was show top two pair by Molinod with AQ.

The pot went over to Molinod, as Genilloud flashed Ax8x for an inferior two pair.

Gode Loses an Early Three-Bet Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The hijack player raised to 600 and was immediately three-bet to 1,800 by Sebastian Gode out of the cutoff. Gode's opponent called when the action got back around to him and the dealer fanned out the 7410 flop.

The hijack check-called Gode's continuation-bet of 2,000 to see a 5 arrive on the turn, causing both players to check.

A J completed the board, and the hijack fired out for 2,500. Gode released his cards, giving up the pot to his opponent.
