Last Call at Casino Gran Vía for WSOPC Madrid Main Event
The last chance to enter the World Series of Poker Circuit Madrid Main Event comes today at Casino Gran Vía, with Day 1c and Day 1d, the tournament's final two starting flights.
Exactly 400 entries have been recorded so far, generating a prize pool of roughly €500,000. Yesterday's Day 1b alone attracted 248 entrants, with 38 players securing their spots in Day 2.
Among them, Ricardo Hernandez Montalvo bagged the chip lead with a massive 1,200,000 after bursting the bubble with pocket aces. He holds almost twice as many chips as his closest challenger, Jhonatan Felix Herrera (642,000). Daniel Heredi (625,000) and Songming Chen (605,000) round out the top four.
