Daniele Grasso opened to 4,000 from under the gun and was called by Carlo van Ravenswoud in the hijack before Birger Larsen on the button three-bet to 16,500. Angelo Marrone in the big blind jammed for approximately 75,500, then Grasso moved all-in for 36,600.

"I have to reconsider the strength of my hand," Larsen said after Van Ravenswoud folded. He eventually folded as well.

Franck Bain was in the small blind when he bet 5,000 on a board of A♥8♠2♥8♥K♥ with 10,000 in the pot.

Andrea Dal Bo on the button raised to 20,000, so Bain went into the tank. He eventually re-raised to 50,000, almost his entire stack, and Dal Bo snap-folded.

Tomasz Brzezinski bet 4,500 from the big blind on a board of 3♥9♦2♦8♦ with 9,300 in the pot. Andrea Dal Bo in the hijack called but Clement Vercueil on the button decided to fold.

The 4♣ landed on the river and was checked by Brzezinski. Dal Bo went into the tank but ultimately checked back and mucked his cards when Brzezinski flipped over 10♣9♣.

Florian Ribouchon opened to 1,200 from under the gun and was called by Luca Sebastiani to his left and Ilay Uziel in the hijack before Mario Llapi in the cutoff raised to 5,600 from the cutoff. Andrew Salami on the button called, as well as all the other players previously involved.

The dealer fanned a flop of J♣4♦8♣ and everybody checked to Salami who bet 10,300. Uziel and Llapi were the only ones to call.

Salami fired a second barrel to 20,000 on the 5♦ turn. Uziel check-raised all-in for approximately 47,000 and made Llapi fold, but Salami called.

Salami called with top pair but Uziel flopped a set which improved into a full house with the J♠ river. Salami was slightly covered so he was eliminated.
