Samir Ainous opened to 600 from middle position and was called by Qing Lu in the cutoff and Andrea Scarrone who defended from the big blind.
Ainous continued for 800 on the J♠8♥2♦ flop. Both of his opponents called, so he fired a second barrel to 1,300 on the 10♣ turn. Lu called but Scarrone check-raised to 4,400 to make Ainous fold. Lu snap-called.
Scarrone asked for 7,000 on the 8♣ river. Lu quickly called again but ran into Scarrone's straight with Q♦9♦.
The action was picked up on a board of A♣2♠9♦K♥ with 5,200 in the pot. Aymen Bouderbala in the big blind overbet to 21,000, and Gatis Popovs in the hijack eventually made the call.
The 2♣ landed on the river and Bouderbala bet 60,000. With 22,000 behind, Popovs went into the tank and called with A♥8♣ for top pair.
Bouderbala flipped over A♦A♠ for a set and sent Popovs to the rail.
Heads-up on a flop of 9♥3♦4♦ with 14,500 in the pot, Didier Galliot in the small blind bet 13,000 but Terry Jordon in the big blind raised all-in for 40,000. Galliot made the call.

The €1,500 World Series of Poker Circuit Paris Main Event continues this Saturday at Partouche Pasino Club with its final two starting flights, Day 1d and Day 1e.
After the first three flights, a total of 642 entries have been recorded for a prize pool of €867,000, which will continue to grow as the field nears the 1,000-entry mark. A total of 273 entries were recorded in yesterday's Day 1c alone, with 41 players qualifying for Day 2 and reaching the money.
Of these players, Arthur Bernard ended the day with a massive stack of 1,675,000, almost twice the stack of second in chips Maher Achour (1,041,000), who would have been one of the chip leaders in the other flights.
