Tiny Field

There are only 78 players present for this Circuit event thus far, though registration is still open through the end of the first level. That would make this the smallest event in the Circuit's history, as the previous record is 99.

Notable Players

We spot several Circuit regulars around this new poker room. There are several unclaimed chip stacks, so there may be some late arrivals throughout the first couple levels.

2008 WSOP Circuit: Horseshoe Southern Indiana

Though this is the sixth time a WSOP Circuit event has been held in Indiana, in may ways this is a fresh start. That's because the former Caesars Indiana has been re-branded Horseshoe Southern Indiana, and along with that new name comes a complete remodeling of the riverboat casino, top to bottom. It's in these brand new confines that a group of Circuit regulars, well known pros and fresh faced newcomers will square off in this $5,000 + $150 championship.

Some of these players have been playing as many events as they could over the last couple of weeks and are ready to finish things off with a bang, while some have flown or driven in just for the big one. Some won a satellite to earn their place here, while others put up the money. However they got here, it's all about the poker from here on out.

The winner of this tournament not only takes home cash and a circuit ring, but also a $10,000 buy-in to this summer's WSOP Main Event.

Join us at 12 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday as we kick off live coverage of Day 1!
