$5,150 Championship Event

Day 1 Completed

WSOP Circuit: Horseshoe Southern Indiana, End of Day 1

That will do it for this nine hour, forty-five minute Day 1, in which a meager crowd of 84 whittled down to 27 players. All of these players, including husband and wife team David and Stacy Kopacz, will return tomorrow at 12pm EST to play down to a final table of 9. That's also when the bubble bursts, as only the final table pays out.

Leading the field is David Kopacz with 107,900, followed by Jamin Stokes with 90,500 and Stacy Kopacz with 90,400.

See you on Monday!

Zeljak Jacks Opponent

In the hijack, Adam Friedman raises to 2,000 and Sameer Al-Dbhany moves all in for 11,900. Michael Zeljak calls the all in and Adam folds.

Sameer: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Michael: {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Board: {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{A-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Sameer is out and Zeljak is up to 26,000.

Jerry Martin Doubles Up

Jerry Martin was all in preflop with {9-Spades} {9-Clubs} and was in trouble against Michael Zeljak's {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs}.

However, the board rolled out {J-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {5-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {A-Clubs}, and Martin doubled up to 39,000. Zeljak was left with only 7,200.
