Ciaca Busts in Incredible Hand

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Paul Ciaca
Paul Ciaca

Paul Ciaca had moved all in for 74,000 from the button and Dragan Simeunovic tossed in a T-5,000 chip from the small blind, though it was not clear that he actually wanted to limp or call the shove. He then exposed his cards with {Q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and the action was on Mateusz Dziewonski.

The latter moved all in and Simeunovic pushed forward his entire stack of almost 40 big blinds to the surprise of everyone on the table and the rail that had gathered, Ciaca in fact could not hold together and burst out in laughter. Dziewonski snap-called with the {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Ciaca was at risk with the {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

The Romanian rail demanded for help but the board ran out blank until the {3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs} turn. The dealer then burned and turned the {5-Spades} on the river and Simeunovic doubled up under incredible circumstances for 380,000. "What the hell are you doing?" a stunned Dziewonski asked and just shook his head. Simeunovic then picked up a one round penalty for exposing the cards out of turn.

Bláha Sends Stack to Michaelis

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Roman Bláha open-shoved for 180,000 with the {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Paul Michaelis looked him up in the small blind with {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. The two had previously clashed and Michaelis held the better hand preflop there too before losing on the river. This time, the board ran out {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Bláha was eliminated.

The player in the eight seat then said "that stack belonged to you anyways," referring to the previous outcome.

Raschbauer Doubles Through Galper

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Zakhar Galper open-shoved the button for 18 big blinds and Stefan Raschbauer called in the small blind with the {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}. Galper had the {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and found an ace on the flop, but the board {J-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{K-Clubs} stayed clear for Raschbauer. Galper was left with 30,000 chips and those vanished shortly after.

No Love For Russia - Victor Tyurin Out 53rd With Kings

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Michael Magalashvili four-bet shoved with 600,000 chips, Russia's Victor Tyurin called, and Atik Miah folded. The hands went face-up with Tyurin ahead with {K-}{K-} to Magalashvili holding {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. Tyurin was still ahead on the flop of {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. However, the {A-Spades} spiked the board to knock Tyurin out, who Magalshvili had covered by approximately 50,000 chips.

Miah shared with the table after the hand that he was holding {J-}{J-}.

Piwowarski Busts in Brutal Beat

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Jakub Piwowarski
Jakub Piwowarski

With pocket kings and a flop of {4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}, one should feel quite secure when facing the {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} of an opponent. Jakub Piwowarski was in exactly that situation against Marius-Alexandru Gicovanu. The {A-Hearts} turn and {A-Spades} river however gave Gicovanu a runner ruller full house and the Romanian jumped up to his rail to high-five while Piwowarski headed to the rail with a bad beat story to tell.

Doblinger flipped for his tournament life with the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} but failed to improve on the board {5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}.

King only had {A-Spades}{4-Clubs} but got there on turn and river of a board {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}.

Filip Polásek

After a raise by Mateusz Dziewonski, Filip Polásek shoved from the button for 260,000 and Marius-Alexandru Gicovanu looked him up from one seat over. Dziewonski folded and Polasek had a flip with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} against the {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} of the Romanian.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Gicovanu had immediately improved, also held up with the {3-Spades} turn and {2-Diamonds} river filling up the board.
