In a battle cutoff versus small blind and with around 16,000 in the middle, the completed board showed {j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Karim Zerrougui in the small led led for 8,000 and Dominik Siegl snap-called by tossing in a single chip.

Zerrougui briefly flashed the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for the busted nut flush draw and Siegl won the pot with {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for two pair.

Small Pot for McNamee

Picking up the pot on the {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} turn, Eamon McNamee made it 500 to go out of the big blind and was called by Adrian Quevedo in a late position. The {k-Clubs} fell on the river and McNamee bet for another 1,300, which won the pot uncontested.

With the flop showing {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}, the action checked to Binak Sinanaj in the cutoff and he bet 1,100. Davy Maes check-called out of the small blind and Martin Paap then raised t 4,700 in the big blind. Sinanaj was in the tank for a long time and folded, Maes also let go.

After the hand was over, Paap's neighbour Duc Quy Nguyen snapped a selfie with the winner of the pot.

Two Barrels by Ivanov

Shay Rozenbaum raised it up to 600 in the hijack and was called by Maksim Ivanov from one seat over. On a flop of {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}, Rozenbaum continued for 700 and then called a raise to 2,200 by his table neighbour. The {5-Spades} fell on the turn and Rozenbaum checked, which prompted a bet worth 3,100 by Ivanov.

That ended the resistance of the Rozenbaum as he sent the cards into the muck.

Also featured on the table is Maureen Bloechlinger as well, who entered right at the start of Day 1a.

Lange Takes From Maes

Davy Maes was the initial preflop aggressor as the button was in front of Eric Lange. Picking up the action on the {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Maes check-called for 1,200 and then check-raised the {6-Clubs} turn from 2,000 to 5,000. Lange made the call to see the {7-Spades} on the river.

Maes now bet 8,000 and Lange called with {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for the flush, which beat Maes' {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for trips sixes.
